A quick story I will share – I was 18, got a tattoo of a fairy on my upper leg (easy to hide) and I always said “This is my version of a guardian angel.” 14 years later, I was contemplating getting the tattoo covered up, as I wasn’t sure it was still relevant to my current thoughts. I went to lunch with a friend, she said I MUST read Healing with the Angels book and said that certain people are chosen to be “angels on earth” for lack of a better term, and that the guardian angels for the animals and the planet are in the form of “Fairies” So, after hearing that, clearly the message was received to NOT cover my tattoo, but rather push harder in life to see what I can do to help more! God definitely has chosen this for me.

I had just gotten divorced and it was pretty bad. I was living in an area where I didn’t have any family or friends, but did have a lucrative practice and was comfortable in my own skin. However, I was very sad much of the time. One particularly stressful day, a woman came in, sat down in my waiting area and started telling me her story. It was dreadful. Among other things, she’d escaped an abusive husband, had no money, and was living in a women’s shelter. Her story was so horrific that by the time she left, I felt my situation was like a big joke! After all, I had good health and a good practice, and my finances were fine.

I must have treated her because I had notes and a record of that day. I tried to find her later on because she had helped me so much, but I couldn’t find her anywhere, and I looked everywhere. It was like she didn’t exist! I kept her paperwork and drew a picture of an angel on it, because I knew for sure she was an angel, just for me that day.

From Dr. Susan Lecy of Victoria, MN:

I was very young, driving in rush hour traffic in the dark. I was really scared and (didn’t trust myself to drive in these conditions), so I pulled over the the side of the road. A man with an earring came up to my car and I wasn’t scared of him! He was warm and friendly. I knew he was an angel.

It continues to amaze me how God can pull through at the eleventh hour! I lost two houses I thought would be perfect to shoot two to three scenes, and I was devastated, as it had been really hard to find those two. Then I found another house and was told a few days later I could only use the outside. What was I going to do this close to our beginning production date? I needed that house the first week of production! Well, I called some real estate agents here in Victoria, MN where we are filming, and some were enthusiastic, but did nothing, not even calling back when they said they would. I’m sure they were very busy and overwhelmed. I understand that kind of thing! Found one agent who was retired, but referred me to “the best”….he said she always got the job done. Well, Nan Emmer is my real estate angel here. She not only got it done, but with a home that’s been in other TV shows and is gorgeous! I’m so grateful to her, she not only did that, but was very supportive of my project and told me about other spiritual women I’d not met here before. The miracles just keep coming! Thank you, God.

A friend we’ll call Sam was really feeling down, mad and just generally miserable one day at work. For some reason he decided to take a different route for his daily walk during break-time and ended up near a small park. Just in front of him, a car parked and a man took out a small dog carrier, then let out a puppy to play in the park. This dog was really cute and came up to Sam, licking him and jumping up on his knees despite the black cloud Sam carried with him that day. Sam’s heart opened immediately. Even more miraculous, the owner of the dog said, “He’s usually not that friendly!” Sam told me, “I felt like it was God patting me on the shoulder, saying, ‘You can have a friend for a little while and it’s not that bad.’ I was able to handle the rest of the day much better.” I know Sam was grateful for that lovely bit of divine intervention and I was inspired by this story as well, making me remember the times I’ve desperately needed just a little love and a puppy was right there to give it to me.

More amazement….So I was talking about Mary, who manages one of the restaurants we’ll film at here in town, and the other miracle is that when I told her about the show, after she’d agreed to the location part, she was amazed. Here’s why: She had just that very day been discussing angels with someone else in the company!

I couldn’t believe it! Every single business in the town where I live said, “Yes” to allowing me to use their building or parking lot for locations needed to film the Soul Survivors TV pilot.After all, I’ve only lived here a very short time and no one really knows me. I was dumbfounded with gratitude. This town is amazing, like a Norman Rockwell town, according to Mary, who manages the restaurant where we’ll film a very special romantic scene.
